Frequently asked questions
Direct answers for Commander players.
What is CommanderZone?
CommanderZone is a manual digital table for Magic: The Gathering Commander. It helps your group prepare decks, create rooms, track life totals and commander damage, and play online from the browser.
Is CommanderZone official?
No. CommanderZone is unofficial fan content. It is not approved, endorsed, sponsored or affiliated with Wizards of the Coast, Hasbro or Magic: The Gathering.
Does CommanderZone enforce Magic rules automatically?
No. CommanderZone is intentionally manual. Players remain responsible for game actions, triggers, priority, the stack and legal decisions, just like at a real Commander table.
Can I play Commander online with four players?
Yes. CommanderZone is built for multiplayer Commander pods and long social games.
Do I need to install anything?
No. CommanderZone runs in the browser.
Do I need a webcam?
No webcam is required for the digital table. CommanderZone is different from webcam-based paper Magic tools because the table itself lives in the browser.
Do I need an account?
You need an account for persistent features such as saving decks, preparing games and returning to your content. Public SEO pages remain accessible without signing in.
Can I use my own Commander decks?
Yes. CommanderZone is designed around preparing, importing or organizing your Commander deck before entering a game.
Can I use CommanderZone for physical games?
Yes. The Table Assistant can help track life totals, commander damage and table state around a physical Commander table.
Is CommanderZone free?
CommanderZone is currently free to use for its available features. If paid features are introduced later, they must focus on convenience and storage, not on selling official Magic content.
Is CommanderZone a replacement for MTG Arena or Magic Online?
No. CommanderZone is not a rules engine or official digital Magic client. It is a manual Commander-focused table for groups who want control and flexibility.
Where can I report bugs or rights issues?
Use the Contact page. Rights holders can contact CommanderZone directly and the issue will be reviewed.
